Chutong Liu
Chutong (Ella) Liu was born in 1997 in Guangdong, China, and moved to the US in 2016. In 2021, she received her Bachelor's degree at the University of California, Berkeley. She also got her MFA Design degree at the University of Southern California. She works in illustration, animation, photography, graphic design, and video editing. Her works use illustration and graphic design to explore the impact of social media, socio-cultural conflicts, and self-identity. She wants her work to build physical bridges between art and humanity through the minutiae of life and culture.
